I split red wine on my friends dress she lent me. At the time I then poured white wine over it, the red wine stain mainly vanished, but there is a tide mark on the dress. Can anyone recommend what to do or a fantastic dry cleaners in london as the one i tried couldn't remove the stain.|||take to a dry cleaners they normally can remove stains...my friend got tippex on her suit and they got that out so must be good!|||try vanish stain remover
failing that throw it in the bin and buy her another one the same|||not being crude but pour a little urine over the stain ...leave for a few mins then rinse under cold water...............it really works|||no|||Red wine it like black currant juice we have a stain on the carpet and it is ruined as even those industrial cleaners can not remove it. I tried to remove it as soon as It spilt and i am sure you never had a chance to do it so quick with the dress. I would look through yellow pages for dry cleaners and call them to ask or search the web for a wonder product. Silk is so delicate i think it is ruined best get on you knees and beg your friend for forgiveness|||You could try using the Glo-Care Stain Devil No. 6, which claims to remove red wine stains...
As far as I'm aware, they are pretty good at getting stains out...
