How long does a bottle of red wine stay good after it has been opened and refridgerated?

I've been told that drinking a little bit of red wine each evening is good for you, but I don't know how long a bottle will keep once it has been opened.|||It will keep for a long while if recorked properly. If there is no cork, it will turn to vinegar, even in the fridge. Most red wines, especially the full bodied ones shouldnt be refrigerated. They should be stored slightly cooler than room temp and served at that temp to experience the full bouquet. Hope this helps.|||Good quality wine will stay drinkable for several days, sometimes up to a week, but after that it loses its character and gets less palatable as more air gets into the bottle and it starts to oxidize. You can still use it for cooking though, and for that purpose it will last for weeks if kept cold.|||Red wine shouldn't be refrigerated.|||Unopened, and stored properly, a bottle of wine can last a very long time. But once opened, the wine comes in contact with oxygen, and it will only last a couple days or up to a week. You shouldn't have any problems if you drink a glass or two each night.
