I know that mixing drinks is not a good thing. Every time I switch drinks majorly, say from beer to champagne to bailey's, I can feel severely unwell and fall to sleep. I have also seen bad examples of people in the pub drinking steadily and then switching to a completely different drink and that will switch them into a completely different character.
I'm just wondering, does switching from white to red wine have a negative effect? Should you stick to exactly the same drink?|||Mixing drinks is about drinking alcohol made from different sources. Red and white wine both come from grapes so they are not mixing your drinks.|||ok well i drink lots of wine and you know what switching from red to white wine, there is no difference even when i started drinking wine its ok, nothing wrong lots of my friends do it all the time and we are good, just dont drink beer before hard liquer that will fxxk you up... but other than that iv mixed beer with wine, hard liquer with wine and i was still ok anywasy you will be ok mixing wines|||No. Generally mixing liquor and beer is not a good thing. Some people say liquor before beer never fear, beer before liquor never sicker. I say, stick with one or the other. Personally I can drink wine and switch to beer or liquor at another point and be fine (assuming I don't over consume altogether).|||No problem w/wine. You can have an aperitif (b/4 dinner / appetizer) then red or white w/ your meal depending on what you're eating. Then a desert wine such as port. To minimize the efects of alcohol it is good to drink a couple glasses of water along the way.|||are you serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wine is wine, the problem starts with mixing the grape and grain also drink in moderation and you will ( should ) be alright|||The mixing the drinks thing is about mixing grape - wine, grain - spirits and beer.
So alternating between red and white wine doesn't count. Can still get pissed on this though|||Yea it Does....Also it gives you a very bad hangover...Never mix red and white wine, and also red wine and champagne. Or champagne and white wine...:))|||interesying lol yup yup|||No, unless you are ten years old|||i wouldnt say so no.
